Amid rural surroundings, an old farmhouse underwent a metamorphosis that respected its character while embracing it with a contemporary twist.

While the original lines of the farmhouse were preserved, the interior of the house was stripped down and transformed into an oasis of calm. Oak, dark green natural stone and lime became the basic materials of this transformation. The filtered light filtering through the surrounding trees creates a play of light and shadow on the textured walls, accentuated by cannage details.
